Collaborated Course with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)

Nagoya University and JAXA established partnership on July 4th in 2008 to contribute to the development of Japanese academic research, education, and aerospace engineering. The purposes of the partnership are cooperation in research and development, education and cultivation, and contributing to the local community.

As a result of this research collaboration, a new course named "Aerospace design engineering course" has been established in Nagoya University School of Engineering since 2009.
To expand the possibilities for research themes and experiments, this course invites the researchers who have been active in the front lines at JAXA as guest professors or associate professors. They teach and lecture for graduate students and review master's and doctoral theses. And a new opportunity allows esearchers of Nagoya University and JAXA to visit each other's facility and stay a certain period in order for our tight collaboratiive research.
